The army killed a number of terrorists in al-Mleiha neighborhood and destroyed their weapons and ammunition, a source told SANA on Wednesday.
Among the dead terrorists were Abdullah Hamad from Somalia and Ammar Bin Jouhar from Algeria.
The source added that the army units killed 21 terrorists of the so-called "Islam Brigade" in Adra al-Balad and destroyed their equipment, while other army units killed 25 terrorists in Aliyeh farms in Duma city.
The Syrian armed forces have also stormed terrorists' dens and gatherings in al-Zabadani city, Khan al-Sheeh and its farms, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Other army units clashed with terrorists to the east of the Teacher Building in Joubar neighborhood, killing and injuring scores of the terrorists.
In al-Qaboun neighborhood in al-Zabadani city, an army unit killed a terrorist near al-Omari Mosque and injured several others.
Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011, when foreign-backed terrorists hijacked the peaceful protest of Syrian nation.
According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies - especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey - are supporting the militants operating inside the country.
