On Thursday, the troops continued their clean-up operations in Adra in the countryside of the capital Damascus, killing a number of the militants.
	The Syrian army confiscated a large cache of weapons from the militants during the operations.
	In al-Nabek city in Damascus countryside, the Syrian forces destroyed a number of vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition.
	In Kissin bay in al-Rastan Lake in Homs province, the army killed dozens of the militants.
	Scores of the militants were killed by the army in al-Zarzor, al-Nakarin, Rasm Bakro, Deir Hafer, Manbej, Tal Ref'at, Andan, Haritan, Mayer and Tallet al-Ghali in Aleppo.
	Dozens of them were also killed by the forces in similar operations in Baslieh, Saraqib, Kafr Najd, al-Badrieh, al-Rwaiseh and Sarmin in Idlib countryside.
	The army killed a large number of the militants in Daraa countryside.
	The Syrian government forces carried out similar operations in Hasakah province, killing a number of the militants.
	Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since March 2011. According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies -- especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey -- are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
	According to the United Nations, more than 100,000 people have been killed and a total of 7.8 million of others displaced due to the violence.
