The operation is being carried out by a team from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), BBC reported.
On Friday, the experts said that Damascus has provided "additional information" on its chemical weapon program.
The mission was established under a UN resolution passed after agreement between Russia and the US.
The resolution followed international outrage at an alleged chemical weapons attack near Damascus in August.
The attack, estimated to have killed hundreds of people, was accused by the United States and other Western powers on the Syrian government. But Syria blames anti-government militants of being behind it.
