Armed terrorists from the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) have reportedly assassinated a 20-year-old Syrian student inside his house in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Syrian news agency SANA reported on Thursday that the terrorists stabbed Wael Haitham Sheikh al-Ashra three times, “taking revenge against him because of his national stances in support of the homeland Syria.”
Egyptian media said the security forces arrested two suspects and referred them to prosecutors for further investigations.
Sheikh al-Ashra was found dead in his bedroom of his house in al-Maqtam area of the capital.
“The killers were identified as Asan Marwan Naqash, Ammar Arafat and Mohammad Fuad,” SANA said.
The two suspects admitted to committing the crime to having links with ranks of the FSA.
