‘Many terrorist acts in Syria planned in Tel Aviv’

Iranian deputy foreign minister says many of the terrorist acts in Syria are planned in Tel Aviv and warns that if Israel keeps supporting militants in Syria, a new anti-Israel front may be formed in the Golan Heights.

Hossein Amir Abdollahian told Al-Alam on Monday that Syria has been experiencing many changes in the past two years which started similar to the Arab Spring movements but it was seized by foreign elements and turned into an all out war.

Foreign countries’ support of anti-government militants in Syria happened so soon that did not give Syrian people the opportunity to follow their demands while it didn’t give a chance to the Syrian government to think of any required reforms as well, he said.

Abdollahian said the second phase of crisis in Syria is clearly a terrorist war. “It took two years and two months for Syrian people and government to gather their strength for fighting against this terrorist war and since two months ago people and government are more determined than ever to face all terrorist gangs and takfiri groups in their country,” he added.

Iranian official said the fact that Syrian capital Damascus is now secured and free of terrorists is a result of this close cooperation between the government and people.

He also said, “As I understand from Syrian officials, the battle in al-Qusayr will soon end with the victory of Syrian people and government”.

Tehran supports diplomatic solution to Syria crisis

Speaking on latest comments made by Lebanon’s Hezbollah Chief, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the crisis in Syria, Abdollahian said, “Syria is an important and active member of the resistance… So Iran supports the Syrian government and all those in the opposition side who seek diplomatic solution to the crisis”.

He said Iran has a sensitive policy about disrespect to the holy sites in Syria and added that, “ it is not accepted that for example in a country like Bahrain, foreign countries enter into a conflict, fully armed, on excuses of defending Bahrain’s public infrastructures, but in holy and historic sites in Syria are attacked by terrorists everyday and no one cares”.

“There will definitely be decisions to support such places through the Islamic World,” he added.

Al-Nusra Front missions are planned in Tel Aviv

“The third important point is Lebanon’s security and the resistance against the Zionist (Israeli) Regime…some documents and pictures will soon be revealed that prove most of what terrorist groups, and even al-Nusra Front do in al-Qusayr, Rif Dimishq and Aleppo are planned in Israeli regime commanding centers in Tel Aviv and the regime is transferring its models and plans of occupying Palestine to the terrorists in Syria”

“If international efforts to close the borders to those who smuggle arms to the terrorist in Syria do not bear results, there are no doubts that a new front against the Zionist regime will be opened in Golan Heights”

Iran and Hezbollah involvement in Syria crisis is a lie

“Syria does not need help from any country… media claims about presence of Iranian and Hezbollah military forces are lies”.

“They claim that Syria is getting weak and has lost the power to fight, while what we are witnessing now is integrity between government, army and supporting people”

“Syria has never asked us for military help and we have never provided any military assistance to Syria”.

“We believe that more than military assistance, Syria needs political, economical and media support”.
