Twin bombings rocked near a mosque north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad killing at least 41 people, local media reported.
According to reports at least 57 other have been injured in the attacks.
Meanwhile, at least eight people have been killed and 25 others injured after a bomb exploded at a funeral procession south of Baghdad.
