According to Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s son has signed several trade contracts with Zionist sides in Occupied Territories during the past 3 years.

Turkish opposition sources emphasized that despite strained relations between Turkey and the Zionist regime during the past 3 years, two trade ships owned by the MB Company, in which Ahmet Burak Erdogan holds shares, have been commuting and transferring goods between Turkish ports and the Zionist regime’s ports.

“The 95-meter-long ‘Safran 1’ vessel docked at the Israeli port of Ashdod for the first time in January 2013, three months before the normalization of Turkey-Israel ties” the sources quoted sides in Turkish ports as saying.

Criticizing the contradictions in Erdogan’s remarks, Turkish MP of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Amine Ulker Tarhan asked him “Is your son exempt from trade ban with Israel? Is this moral? How large is the scale of your son’s ship trade with Israel?”

The Turkish opposition stressed that the scandal of Erdogan’s son has revealed the true face of his policy towards the Zionist regime… and after the incident of the Freedom Flotilla in which several Turkish citizens were killed by Zionist forces, Erdogan was delivering speeches against the Zionist regime in the media, while his son was negotiating with Tel Aviv and signing trade contracts.

“Turkish parliamentarians have wrongly accused Erdogan. He never banned trade relations with Israel, even in the most sever period of diplomatic crisis, he only suspended security trade” Yedioth Ahronoth noted quoting Turkish media sources.

“During the Israel-Turkey crisis, bilateral trade relations boosted and with a 30-percent increase, reached $4 billion” the newspaper acknowledged.
