Three Palestinian farmers have been wounded as Zionist army’s tanks have once again opened fire despite the cease-fire agreement, according to Hamas sources.
“Three farmers, around 20 years of age, were moderately wounded by a tank shell and taken to Shifa hospital in Gaza City” said the health ministry spokesman, Ashraf Al-Quadra.
The men were working on fields east of the al-Bureij refugee camp early Friday when tanks opened fire, but the Zionist army denies the incident altogether.
The move echoes an airstrike on Zeitoun district, east of Gaza City, by Israeli warplanes on February 24 injuring two other Palestinians.
On February 13, Human Rights Watch (HRW) condemned the Tel Aviv regime for violating the laws of war during its eight-day assault on Gaza.
In spite of the November cease-fire agreement that ended the eight-day offensive on the Gaza Strip, four Palestinians have so far been martyred and about 80 others have been wounded, to date.
Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and about 1,200 others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the coastal enclave during the eight-day war on Gaza.
