Strikers blame the Zionist regime of Israel for the death of 30-year old Arafat Jaradat and demand international investigation on the case.
Issam Bakr, member of the Palestinian Prisoners Committee told al-Alam that the Israeli regime was responsible for Jaradat’s death. He said, “as far as we know, the prisoner was subjected to interrogations and his heart failed during the process”.
He expressed concerns over violation of human rights against Palestinians in Israeli jails and said, “Death units carry out daily attacks on Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist regime's jails”.
Bakr asked the Palestinian authorities to act on the issue and now that Palestine is recognized as a non-member observer state at the United Nations, they bring Israeli regime’s crimes to International attention.
