Despite gains in Scotland, the Conservatives now need the support of a second party to form a coalition or support a minority government. Labour are on course to increase their seat tally by at least 30, but things are so finely poised that even with the support of the SNP and the Lib Dems, Jeremy Corbyn would not be able to command a majority.
