US Deploys 500 New Soldiers to Iraq for Mosul Operation

Some 500 soldiers based in the US state of Kansas will be deployed to Iraq this fall to train and advise Iraqi forces that are preparing for an offensive to retake the city of Mosul from the Daesh terrorist group, the US Army announced on Friday.
