Russian state television on Wednesday showed footage of humanitarian aid distribution in Syria's besieged city of Aleppo from the day before.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Wednesday that the Syrian army had significantly advancing and freeing the city from terrorists.
Zakharova also said that more than 8,000 civilians had fled rebel-controlled areas due to the Syrian army advance.
Tens of thousands of people have been fled from terrorist-held districts in Aleppo as Syrian forces press on with their campaign to reclaim the divided city.
