Eight servicemen were wounded Friday by a roadside bomb believed to be planted by Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) militants in Baskele district of Turkey's eastern province of Van, Milliyet newspaper reported.
Two of the wounded are in critical condition. Helicopters have been involved in the anti-terrorist operation in the area.
According to the newspaper, four more Turkish servicemen were injured in another PKK roadside bomb in Semdinli district of the eastern province of Hakkari.
