Israeli Warplane & Drone Shot Down by Syrian Army in Golan Heights

An Israeli reconnaissance aircraft and a drone have been shot down by Syrian forces in the southern Quneitra countryside, Golan Heights, the Syrian Army said in a statement. It comes after the Israeli military targeted Syrian positions in the Golan Heights.

The warplane had attacked an army position at 1 a.m. on Tuesday in the southern Quneitra countryside.  it and a drone were then shot down, SANA news reported.

The Israeli authorities have denied the shooting down of the drone and warpalne.
