ISIS began the attacks by storming the SDF defense lines south of Al Shadadi city and captured at least four villages.
Following the capture of these four villages, the ISIS made a major push for Al-Shadadi’s southern perimeter, capturing the town of Al Sheikh Hilal along the way.
ISIS is now positioned just south of Al-Shahdadi, leaving only a few kilometers of rural area between them and this strategic city near the Deir Ezzor border.
Despite the airstrikes from the US Coalition, the ISIS terrorists are still pushing north towards Al-Shadadi, as they continue their large-scale offensive.
