The Syrian Marines, backed by the Desert Hawks Brigade and National Defense Forces (NDF), captured key point of Shilaf Castle the northeastern Latakia countryside last night after a fierce battle with the terrorist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest).
According to activists in the Jabal Al-Akrad region of northeastern Latakia, the Syrian Armed Forces seized the strategic Shilaf Castle that overlooks the key mountaintop town of Kinsibba, AMN reports.
Shilaf Castle’s location makes it one of the most important points to the Syrian Armed Forces near the contested town of Kinsibba.
