Asal Ahmed was at the market in Baghdad's affluent Karada district with her mother as they shopped for gifts during the Islamic holiday earlier this month.
But ISIS suicide bombers targeted the shopping mall setting off a fire, which ripped through the area killing nearly 300 people and wounding another 200.
Like many of the injured, Asal suffered extensive burns to her face but returned to the scene of the bombing while being carried in the safety of her father's arms.
They were joined by hundreds of others who visited the market to light candles in memory of the victims.
The ISIS attack was the deadliest single bombing in 13 years of war in Iraq .
Since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, Karada has been hit by seemingly endless suicide attacks, roadside bombs and even rocket shelling, Daily Mail reported.
