Police video shows the frantic moments when police officers arrived at a burning home in the capital on Monday.

An elderly woman was trapped inside as the home was consumed by flames.

Officers desperately tried to reach the woman by forcing clear bars and doors as the flames engulfed the home.

The policemen eventually reached the woman and she was pulled from the burning home.

According to media, she escaped the flames in relative good health but with burns on around 30% of her body.

Officers could not reach another victim in the home, a 16 year old who died in the burning house.
