An MoU regarding Silk Road and establishment of a maritime Silk Road of the 21st century was signed by Ministry of Economy and Financial Affairs (MEFA) of Iran and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China.
Furthermore, another MoU between Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) and China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) was signed by the heads of the two bodies regarding peaceful use of energy.
In this meeting, a treaty between Iran and China regarding mutual legal cooperation on criminal and civil and trade issues was signed by the Iranian Minister of Justice and Chinese Foreign Minister.
Also, another MoU between Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology was signed by Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs and Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Other Memorandums of Understanding were signed on areas such as providing goods for confronting weather change, cementing industrial, mining, and investment cooperation, communication and information technology cooperation, providing funds for Tehran-Mashhad express railway, cementing investment cooperation, development of human resources, cooperation in cultural, art, and educational cooperation, strategic cooperation in customs, establishment of Silk Road scientific fund, media cooperation, and developing joint cooperation between Qeshm Free Zone of Iran and Pilot Free Zone of China; president.ir reported.
