SANA reporter said that a number of buses accompanied by UN, ICRC and SARC cars entered the city to move gunmen and their families out of the city.
In turn, some 300 families from Al Foua and Kafraya started leaving the two towns in the countryside of Idlib besieged since two years ago.
The move comes within executing an agreement reached last September.
Today the Syrian government and Armed opposition have reached an agreement on evacuating the besieged gunmen and families in three towns under UN mediation.
According to the agreement, militants trapped in the Syrian Lebanon border town of Zabadani will be allowed to head for the airport in Lebanon's capital Beirut through a secure channel and leave for Turkey under the supervision of the International Red Cross, sources to told China CCTV.
The militants have so far been besieged in the town for several months by the Syrian government forces.
At the same time, around 300 families trapped in two Shiite towns in the rebel-held northern Syrian province of Idlib will also be evacuated, according to the agreement.
Instead of passing through the rebel-controlled Idlib, the families will head for Turkey through a land route and then fly to Beirut, sources said.
Earlier in December, the Syrian government and militants in Homs reached a settlement agreement that led to the evacuation of the militants from the city.
On Dec. 24, the government and militants in the southern suburbs of Damascus reached an evacuation agreement under UN mediation.
More than 4,000 militants and their family members are likely to be evacuated from the region in the near future.
