Iraq's military continued operations to retake the city of Ramadi from the ISIS terror group on Wednesday.
Iraqi forces reported progress in the military operation on Tuesday, saying they made the most significant incursion into the city since it fell to the militants in May.
A spokesman for the US military in Baghdad, said there are 250 to 350 ISIS Terrorist in Ramadi, as well as several hundred outside the city on the northern and western perimeter.
Also Eight senior ISIS commanders were killed in air strikes by the Iraqi airforce, Iraqi state TV reported on Wednesday citing a militarystatement.
"F-16 planes killed dozens of terrorists including eight senior commanders of Daesh in strikes on Hawija and Anbar," said the statement.
