According to Lebanese media reports Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil will visit Iran in the near future.
Lebanese daily Annahar Newspaper reported on its Tuesday edition that Bassil will pay an official visit to Iran to confer latest regional and international developments with Iranian officials.
This is Bassil's first trip to Iran after being elected as head of National Liberal Party of Lebanon.
Iran and Lebanon enjoy cordial relations. Lebanon has been rocked by the spillover of the conflict in Syria, with its north being the epicenter of fierce clashes between supporters and opponents of the Syrian government; IRNA reported.
