Iraq's Ministry of Defence has released a video showing helicopters saving a number of troops under siege of the ISIS terrorist group in Ramadi.
The MOD video was accompanied with a statement announcing that the Iraqi armed forces were able to extract soldiers stranded in the al-Mulab district of the city, which is 115 kilometres (70 miles) west of Baghdad.
Troops were airlifted from a location on the outskirts of the city. The MOD statement described the operation as successful.
