An apparent bomb blast near a tram stop in Turkey's largest city of Istanbul has reportedly wounded several people, local press accounts said.
The Dogan news agency reported Saturday that many people were hurt in the explosion but did not elaborate any further.
This is while the CNN Turk News channel further reported that the explosion occurred inside a packaging workshop and may have been the result of a gas leak.
Television images showed smoke coming out of a building while fire trucks and ambulances rushed to the scene.
There has been no official confirmation or information about the explosion yet.
