The Israeli warplanes bombed an area near Bureij Palestinian refugee camp, located in the central Gaza Strip, on Saturday.
Palestinian officials said the airstrikes were launched after Israel’s tanks fired into the northern part of Gaza.
On Saturday, the Israeli air force launched three airstrikes against a police station in the center of the blockaded coastal enclave within one hour.
At least two Palestinians were also killed and several others injured in an Israeli drone strike against Gaza on Friday.
Gaza has been blockaded since June 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standards of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
The apartheid regime of Israel denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.
