According to Al-Alam correspondent, Lebanon army on Monday deployed its forces at the southern borders of the country near the occupied lands of Palestine.

In a move which is being seen highly provocative by regional countries, Israeli regime warplanes have been flying over Lebanon since early Sunday.

At least 15 people were killed and dozens more were missing after Israeli regime attack, according to a letter submitted to the United Nations by Syrian foreign ministry on Monday.

The Israeli regime’s incursions of Lebanese sovereignty have a long history with the regime’s planes and drones frequently breaching Lebanese airspace.

The Lebanese government, the Hezbollah resistance movement, and the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), have repeatedly condemned the overflights, saying they are in clear violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the country's sovereignty.

UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which brokered a ceasefire in the war of aggression the Zionist regime launched against Lebanon in 2006, calls on the regime to respect Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In 2009, Lebanon filed a complaint with the United Nations, presenting over 7,000 documents pertaining to Israeli violations of Lebanese territory.
