Hundreds of Iraqis fled their homes in the recently captured village of Topzawa, near Mosul, fearing ISIS retaliation and continued clashes.
In 8th day of Mosul liberation operation Iraqi Joint forces stormed Topzawa village 8 km northeast of Mosul and is close to the village of Bashiqa which was taken by Kurdish Peshmerga fighters on Sunday.
Iraqi and Peshmerga forces have stormed a village located northeast of Mosul on Monday (October 24) as part of a wider operation to recapture the city, which is the Daesh (ISIS/ISIL/IS) final stronghold in the area.
