The source said that al-Baghdadi, in a decree to ISIL's Prisons Department in Nineveh, has ordered to release the terrorist groups' inmates to forward them to battlefields to face Iraqi forces.

The source added that ISIL has released tens of its members that were in jails and has transferred them to Nineveh court in Bab al-Tawab region in order to renew their allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The source went on to say that al-Baghdadi's decree came after ISIL members' suffered continued defeats in battlefields West of Nineveh province that caused ISIL fighters to escape battlefields.

On Friday, Iraq's joint military forces continued their advances in the Eastern part of the city of Mosul and managed to seize back a strategic district.

The Iraqi forces took full control of al-Mosana district in Eastern Mosul after killing and injuring several terrorists in tough battle.

Meantime, the Iraqi government troops liberated some parts of al-Salam Hospital also in Eastern Mosul, FNA reported.
