The so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham or Levant (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) reportedly launched a powerful assault in Sirte's eastern countryside, targeting the small village of Al Sawawah, which is under the control of the Mistrada Brigades.
According to the "Al-Amaq," 65 Libyan fighters were either killed or wounded during the surprise assault this weekend.
Clashes are still ongoing at Al-Sawawah, as ISIS terrorists attempt to recapture this key village in Sirte's eastern countryside.
