An air-defense brigade of the Chinese People's Liberation Army recently conducted a live-ammunition ground-to-air confrontation drill based on information systems to hone its fighting ability.
The air-defense brigade with the Southern Theater Command's 42nd group army was grouped into confrontation teams.
The drill started with several warplanes coming from all the directions to launch a long-range raid.
But the air-defense force made a quick response by deploying scouts to issue a warning and using ground artillery to intercept those fighter jets.
