British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande agreed that trade ties with Iran could be strengthened now that the sanctions had been lifted, Russia's Sputnik reported.
During telephone conversation on Friday, Cameron and Hollande 'touched on a number of…issues, notably the ongoing close co-operation on counter-terrorism, Syria and the humanitarian crisis and Iran, where both agreed there is an opportunity now to step up trade links with Tehran.'
The US and the European Union lifted anti-Iran sanctions after the January 16 report released by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano who verified nuclear program in Iran by his report.
Then, the implementation of the July 14 nuclear agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) started as Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini issued a joint statement announcing the 'Implementation Day'.
Since then, the foreign corporations have been heading to the Iranian markets.
Also, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani travelled to Italy on January 25, then departed for France.
During his visits there, President Rouhani held talks with top officials of those countries on various issues including bilateral cooperation.
