A passenger plane was forced to divert after a “threatening message” was found onboard.

The Boeing 737 was carrying 131 passengers and six crew members at the time of the terrifying scare.

The United Airlines plane had left Alaska and was bound for Denver when the chilling message was found.

A suspect was arrested by Canadian authorities after the aircraft landed at Vancouver International Airport.

A United Airlines spokesman said: “The crew elected to divert the flight after they discovered a threatening message from one of the passengers.”

Canadian officers tweeted the man’s arrest had not affected operations at Vancouver’s airport.

It comes just two days after a French plane heading to Paris was diverted after it received an anonymous threat.

Air France Flight 83 from San Francisco, California, USA had to land at Montreal, Quebec, Canada, officials said.

The flight's 231 passengers managed to disembark safely.

LA Airport was also forced to evacuate it’s Terminal One last week following a “bomb scare.”

The “non-specific” threat was made just before 10pm GMT (2pm local time), prompting the evacuation,Express reported.
